Nourish and Flourish Queenscliff Retreat

Friday 11th to Sunday 13th September 2026

Escape to Queenscliff for a weekend of delicious whole-food, plant-based food, hands-on cooking, practical nutrition education and good company. Whether you’re new to whole-food, plant-based eating or have been following this way of eating for years, our weekend retreat is a chance to learn, be inspired, pick up new ideas and enjoy spending time with like-minded people — all in the relaxed seaside setting of Queenscliff.

  • Location: Whitehall Guesthouse, Queenscliff, Victoria.
  • Cost: $1,250
  • Includes 2 nights’ accommodation in a room of your own (share bathroom)
  • Delicious whole food plant-based meals from Friday evening to Sunday lunch (special dietary needs will be catered for)
  • Cooking demonstrations and workshops with experts in plant-based nutrition
  • Plant-based nutrition education sessions with a nutritionist and a lifestyle medicine doctor
  • Optional brief medical appointment with GP and Lifestyle Medicine Practitioner Dr Malcolm Mackay (follow-up telehealth available)

The weekend includes practical cooking demonstrations and workshops led by Anita Rickey, former owner of plant-based cafe Diggers Vegie Kitchen. The food is all whole food plant-based (no oil, minimal salt and minimal simple sugars).

For the educational aspect of the weekend, Dr Malcolm Mackay and Jenny Cameron will provide a comprehensive overview for those new to a plant-based diet, which will also benefit those already plant-based who want to make further adjustments to optimise their health.
