Enjoy delicious whole food plant-based meals prepared by Anita Rickey from Diggers Vegie Kitchen, plus cooking demonstrations, yoga, meditation, films and benefit from the educational lectures by experts in plant-based nutrition and lifestyle medicine Dr Malcolm Mackay (General Practitioner) and Jenny Cameron (Nutritionist/Librarian).

This immersion is perfect for people who want to achieve optimal health and wellbeing through a healthy lifestyle. If you are suffering from a chronic disease you can make significant lifestyle changes with the reassurance of medical supervision at hand. If you are already living a healthy lifestyle we will help you tweak it to achieve optimal health and have the best chance of preventing heart disease, diabetes, cancer and autoimmune diseases. Wherever you are on the spectrum this immersion is the best way to kick start your health transformation in a community of like-minded people.

What you will learn

A typical day will look like this:

  • 7:00-8:00       Morning activity (optional): e.g. yoga, beach walk
  • 8:15-9:00       Breakfast
  • 9:15-11:15     Morning presentation (Jenny and/or Malcolm)
  • 11:45-12:30   Cooking demonstration (Anita)
  • 12:30             Lunch
  • 2:00-4:00       Afternoon presentation/discussion
  • 4:00-6:30       Free time or activity (optional): e.g. meditation
  • 7:00               Dinner at Diggers Vegie Kitchen
  • 8:00               Movie night

What’s included?

  • 5 night’s accommodation at the Great Ocean Road Resort in Anglesea
  • Delicious whole food plant-based meals from Sunday night through to Friday lunch (special dietary needs can be catered for)
  • Medical supervision (for those who need it)
  • Nutrition consultations
  • Plant-based nutrition and lifestyle medicine education sessions with a nutritionist and medical doctor
  • Cooking demonstrations, a shopping tour
  • Meditation and yoga classes
  • Movies, beach walks and other activities
  • Resort facilities include a heated indoor pool and gymnasium, free wi-fi
